I am a chestnut/sorrel stallion with a star. I was born in August, 2022, out of dam Spice and sire Crockett. If you are fortunate, you will see me in the Indian Park, Low Gap, Round Mountain area of the Little Book Cliffs range.


🌟 Meet Cajun! 🌟
This handsome chestnut mustang was gathered from the Little Book Cliffs in September 2024 and is now part of our Foster 16 Program. Born in August 2022 to Spice and Crockett, Cajun is proving to be an intelligent and curious young horse.
🐴 Fostering Update:He’s now consistently touching my hand with his nose and even taking a few steps toward me! He’s super curious and especially interested in my dog—watching their interactions has been fascinating!
Working with a mustang takes patience, kindness, and consistency. Cajun is showing just how adaptable and intelligent these wild horses are, and I’m excited to continue this journey with him.

From cautious curiosity to growing trust, Cajun is settling in beautifully on just his third day at the property. Each interaction builds his confidence, and it’s incredible to see him making connections with his new human friends.
Patience, kindness, and consistency are the key to working with mustangs, and Cajun is proving just how intelligent and adaptable these incredible horses are. Excited to continue this journey with him!
